A wheat farmer posted a comment to the Jim Stone Freelance site that the 'hidden' problem with wheat is the use of the highly toxic Round-Up chemical used to dry the wheat 3 or four days before harvest. This has been a common practice among wheat farmers that has increased in the last four decades. I believe this is process is called 'desiccation.' So wheat problems could actually be chemical reactions.
